Procedures of Teaching

at first after I entered the class, I made sure my students were ready to be in the classroom and ready to learn by watching students sitting in their seats and not noisy. After that I opened the lesson.

First, I say hello first, then I give a review of past meeting learning to measure whether students still remember or not, if not then remind them again by way of the review.

After that, I told the learning material and general description of the learning material to be studied, so that students were better prepared to look for information on subject matter through books or the internet.

Next, enter the learning material that will be studied. I use power point as a medium for learning. I explained the learning material in accordance with the book based on the applicable curriculum. So I got information about the learning material from the book and also from the internet and I made a summary with Power Point. I also display videos related to learning materials as information enhancers. When I explain learning material, I also ask questions to students so that they provide opportunities for activity and measure students' understanding.

After that, I gave a quiz related to learning material. The quiz aims to measure students' understanding of learning material that has been learned.

Next to close the lesson I convey what conclusions have been learned and say thank you.

Problem Solve

The problem that often occurs is setting the time when teaching is not as planned in the lesson plan. Sometimes when teaching, more time is used than planned, but sometimes also less time than planned. However, to resolve the problem if the time is lacking then proceed to the next meeting, if the remaining time is still there I usually use it for question and answer.


Classroom Management

Class management for me is a challenge because this is my first experience in class. However, that was not too difficult for me. I used the method of explaining material with a low tone of intonation and then changed rather high to keep the attention of students. In addition, so that students are active, I form groups of students to discuss topics that I give, then give them the opportunity to come forward to explain to their friends. Efforts to keep students listening to their friends going forward are when the group finishes explaining the results of the discussion, the group questions the friends who are randomly chosen, so if students do not listen then they cannot answer the questions and the students will feel embarrassed, then in order not to happen like that, students will listen to their friends who explain in front.
